Great Italian Espresso & Cappuccino (Course M12)

One Italy, Many Traditions
Espresso was born in Italy and Italians think of it not only as a beverage but as a fundamental part of their culture. Espresso indeed is the expression of the Italian way of life.
Anyway Italian espresso is different from region to region as it reflects the local food culture. That is why in the course students will train themselves with four different Italian blends to learn how to get the best out of each of them.

  • Greetings, introduction to the Italian Barista School and to the course.
  • The regional styles of the Italian Espresso.
  • The Italian Espresso Sensory Map.
  • Morning Session: preparing espresso with four different Italian blends
  • Afternoon Session: preparing cappuccinos with two different Italian blends. Preparing caffè macchiato, latte macchiato and caffè latte.  Cleaning the coffee machine and the coffee grinder.
  • Final Greetings.
